[Videos] Häagen-Dazs Ice Cream Cakes that I can only salivate looking, etc.

This is a very short video on Youtube. It is on Häagen-Dazs Ice Cream Cakes that I can only salivate just by looking at them. July is my birthday month, hence, I decided to take the opportunity to shoot this video for posterity, never mind if I don't taste this very expensive ice cream.

This is a short video on the vlogger's birthday gift of cards from her second sister and brother-in-law in the UK. It is the thought that counts. Thank you, Su Mei and Peter. Love you.

This program is full of activities and really interesting to learn from him. By the way, RM 100 will be donated to a children's cancer home, while the excess money will be for the trainer himself, Vince Tan, and his awesome team. The cost was an affordable price of at least RM 100.

A little background about the trainer on his LinkedIn page:

Selflesspreneur, Marketer, Speaker, Strategist, Geek, Closer, Hustler - Malaysia's Biggest Crowd Funding Investor, World's #1 Virtual Live Summit Organizer, Servant to #1 Entrepreneur Masterclass in South East Asia.

Here is a birthday-themed Instagram picture to wish myself a "Happy Birthday." This is my eye-candy for you, to immerse in looking at the colorful balloons, candles and a cake topped with frosted-white cream, and such.

This is a song sung by the Carpenters, entitled 'Sing a Song.' I like the lovely floral-themed pictures plus groovy music to the ears. This is for your listening pleasure. Enjoy. Finally, stay safe and stay at home. Most of all, Stay Happy!

On the 7th of July, people celebrated Happy World Chocolate day in commemoration of the tasty cocoa beans turned in to delicious chocolate bar, mini chocolates, cakes, syrup toppings, and such. See the video below. Warning! Don't get hungry or salivate after watchin. :)

World Chocolate Day, sometimes referred to as International Chocolate Day, or just Chocolate Day is an annual celebration of chocolate, occurring globally on July 7. The observance of World Chocolate Day date back to 2009,[6] and some suggest July 7, in particular, celebrates the introduction of chocolate to Europe in 1550.

Other chocolate day celebrations exist, such as National Chocolate Day in the United States on 28 October. The U.S. National Confectioners Association lists 13 September as International Chocolate Day, coinciding with the birth date of Milton S. Hershey (September 13, 1857). Ghana, the second-largest producer of cocoa, celebrates Chocolate Day on February 14. In Latvia, World Chocolate day is celebrated on July 11.

The U.S. National Confectioners Association lists four primary chocolate holidays on their calendar on Chocolate Day (July 7), two National Chocolate Days (October 28 and December 28), and International Chocolate Day (September 13), in addition to variants such as National Milk Chocolate Day, National White Chocolate Day, and National Cocoa Day.

Don't you find Garfield cute in the above Instagram picture? To start off the day well, here is a "Good Morning" clipart picture for your eye candy.

Above is another "Good Morning" of Snoopy clipart. May you have love in your heart and peace in your soul.

That's it for this blog post, till new week. Stay safe, stay happy and healthy.

[Videos] Macalister Road Nasi Lemak, Light Decorations at the Penang Esplanade, etc

Penang Georgetown Nasi Lemak at Macalister Road. Located diagonally opposite the junction of Lorong Abu Siti and Red Rock Hotel. The place is known as Macalister Signature Food Court at Macalister Road, Penang (MS Food Court).

GEORGE TOWN: A husband and wife took retrenchment in their stride and, after some hard work, are now whipping up nasi lemak that has become the talk of the town. Hana Batrisya Zainol, 23, was a flight attendant while her husband Muhammad Nur Azizee Roslan, 24, was a flight caterer.

They lost their jobs in the airline industry last November following travel curbs due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

However, they mastered their parents’ nasi lemak recipe, tweaking the sambal to suit current tastes.

“We got the sambal recipe from both our parents and improvised it to suit our tastebuds. We had the idea to start a business in January and not just sit at home.

“Luckily, our parents are supportive and they help us with the cooking and packing, ” said Hana Batrisya.

It is hard work where the couple and their parents have to wake up at 5.30am to prepare the ingredients.

“Our nasi lemak is prepared fresh every day. Initially, business was slow but things picked up through word of mouth, ” she said at her stall at a food court in Macalister Road here recently.

The couple now sells about 1,000 packets of nasi lemak a day, priced between RM1.50 and RM4.50 depending on extra ingredients like chicken, prawn, or fish.

Their standard nasi lemak is the classic Malaysian dish served with half a hard-boiled egg, deep-fried anchovies, and groundnuts, and with the gravy-like sambal spilled liberally over the rice.

Hana Batrisya has an advantage when it comes to building rapport with their customers as she is fluent in Malay, English, Mandarin, Hokkien, and Bahasa Indonesia.

“My father is Chinese. Hokkien is actually my mother tongue.

“Since my mother’s family is from Indonesia, I picked up Bahasa Indonesia from her, ” she added.

Business at the stall starts at 8am and there will often be a queue until the nasi lemak is gone, which is usually around 1pm.

Aquaculturist Bryan Teh, 44, came back for the dish the second time after trying it a few days ago.

“The nasi lemak is delicious and they are very generous with the sambal. For a person who likes spicy food, the sambal is the ‘bomb’.

“I’ve tried all of their specialties and decided to come back as the taste is good and the price is reasonable, ” he said.

Retired teacher Majemin Shafie, 66, said she decided to give the nasi lemak a try after her friend shared pictures of the dish with her.

“After seeing the photos, I wanted to try it instead of my usual breakfast of noodles. I ordered nasi lemak with fish and the price was reasonable, ” she said.

Construction site manager Lim Boon Chye, 52, saw the queue of nasi lemak buyers and decided to line up, too.

“I came to see a doctor nearby and saw the queue. I decided to take away a few packets for my family to try after getting recommendations from my friend, ” he said.

Walking around The Esplanade in Penang, while immersing in the wonderful light decorations representing the various countries' theme - from India, Australia, England, Japan, Dubai, China, etc.

The Esplanade is a waterfront location in the heart of George Town, Penang, Malaysia. It covers the field adjacent to Fort Cornwallis, known locally as the Padang, and the seaside promenade along the edge of the field.

The Esplanade Penang is also known as Padang Kota Lama in Malay.

Above is an Instagram picture of Happy Sunday quotes and Good Morning today. Don't you like the blue theme and daisies? I find them unique and decided to post it here.

Here are smileys that are cute and a Good Morning message to start off the day well! Stay safe and stay healthy in this pandemic.

So, I let her have the .MOV file which is a very large one and took some time to email over. So, far she loves my work and had been sending over the pet items for review and videos for her clients.

Above is an Instagram picture on the 10 rules of Ikigai that resembles closely to the scriptures in the Bible. Hence, I put it here for myself to refer to and also for you, my dear friends. This video showcases the various places of the vlogger's hunt for tantalizing food in Penang and Kuala Lumpur. Check it out. On a side note, my late dad passed away on the 17th of December 2018. He would have been 84 this year, had he been alive, in the year of the Ox, his Chinese zodiac animal. Dad is now happily living in heaven with a beautiful mansion. We 3 sisters will miss him, as he had been a gentle and caring father.

Dad was a very responsible person. He was brought up by my granny, in a single-parent home environment, and worked hard serving bowls of laksa since young, to help my late paternal granny.

Living in poverty, both dad and granny taught us hard work and integrity. Mum did her part as well. Granny always told me, "Books are your treasures."

While, dad used to teach us the idiom, "Feed a man a fish, and you feed him for a day; teach a man how to fish, and you feed him a lifetime."

Thank you, Dad, for all that you have done - to give me life and education, which you have always emphasized as an English teacher. Here is an early "Happy Father's Day" in heaven, Dad.

Today is a begining of another week on a Monday. Happy working for those who are working from home in this FMCO in Penang, Malaysia.

Stay healthy and stay in love with God.
