[Videos] Penang Batik Clothes and Travel along Batu Feringghi Beach

Above is a short video taken by me, and compiled with copyright-free music with credits given below it. See the colorful play of designs and repertoire of colors as eye candy. They sell men's short-sleeve shirts, women's scarves, blouses, pajamas, and more. This is located on the ground floor in the main foyer of Prangin Mall. Do view the entire video.

See an Instagram shot of the various Penang Batik clothes in this post below:-

The video below showcases the vlogger's travel by car along the famous Batu Feringghi Road stretch, lined with condominiums, both high and low-ends. For the purpose of this video, I have removed the low-end apartments, built by the Malaysian government for the tsunami victims and also the priviledge "bumiputra" MIA - missing in action lot.

See the relaxing azure blue seas, greenery of shrubs and coconut trees, amongst others that grow on both sides of the winding road. See a cameo appearance of yours truly, de-stressing while squeezing a rubber toy ball, towards the end!

As today is lazy happy Sunday, I have added my Instagram pictures here of "Good Morning," from my account. Hope you like it as much as I do. By the way, a strawberry is the only fruit with seeds outside the skin.

That's it for now. Just in case, you need to register for Covid-19 vaccination on the MySejahtera App on a voluntary basis and it is your passport to future travel overseas. You will be given a Covid-19 certificate after completing the booster jab. Stay safe and stay happy.

[Video] Trip to China covering 4 places - Shanghai, Hangzhou, Suzhou and Wuxi

The above is a walk down memory lane just before Covid-19 hits. It was a trip to China covering 4 places - Shanghai, Hangzhou, Suzhou and Wuxi, by Air Asia. Those were the heydays and carefree years away from the fear of contracting the recent pandemic that has ravaged the world economy, made millions unemployed and homeless, so say the least.

Anyway, enjoy the night lights of a river cruise in Wuxi, supposedly a retirement town in China. Yet it was bustling with activities at night like tourists such as yours truly patronizing this lovely town for its man-made lights and creations along the small river. Just beside this river were many souvenir gift shops for your shopping indulgence.

As usual, I got myself some fridge magnets from the various countries that I had visited for posterity and the dozens of magnets stuck to my fridge as a mini celebration of my world tour. Each year, I will visit different country/ countries before Covid-19. So, now I just stay at home, even during Christmas, where previously it was routine to visit Genting Highlands for its fresh mountain air, and to dine plus a little shopping. Gambling is a big no-no.

Hope you like the colorful Instagram picture above taken from my account. In all things, we need to put God and Jesus first, so that our labor will not be in vain. Also, man shall not live by bread alone, but by every Word that proceeds from the mouth of GOD. See the picture below for some nuggets of wisdom.

Enjoy. God's Word is our most powerful weapon against depression, sickness, poverty, and other ills of society. Finally and in retrospect, stay safe and stay at home if possible.

On Site Visit and Returning to Penang via the Second Bridge

I followed my business partner to Butterworth recently for an on-site visit and thereafter, we went back via Penang second bridge. This bridge is much longer and more curvy compared to the first one that was straight with more views of the seas. We also passed by several MNCs or factories in Bayan Lepas, the Silicon Valley of Penang. It is an area that has many factories which manufactures high tech gadgets, semi-conductors, silicon chip, and more. Examples are Plexus, Intel, Agilent, and such.

I am also a little tired from all the online work at home using my laptop and smartphone. This morning, I am feeling a little groggy, even though I slept early last night, and forgot to bathe since I overslept. Anyway, in this Covid-19 pandemic, it is better to live one day at a time and count our blessings of being alive with God's grace.

In the USA, more than 220,000 Americans have passed on due to Covid-19. I hope and pray that this situation will be controlled. I had also watched a video of how people are leaving New York City in droves due to money being channeled to other departments and no longer to the NY police department and rubbish removal department. This is simply absurd. Prisoners are freed and rubbish uncollected due to no income from the Federal Government.

On a positive note, see my "Good Morning" Instagram picture below:

See how pretty the graphics are in the aforementioned picture. I take pride in uploaded lovely pictures from my Instagram account. This is certainly uplifting and encouraging to view, instead of watch negative news of the world on Astro tv.

Stay in Flamingo Hotel and a COMEDY of Always Wear Your Mask in Case of Farting in the Lift

Our last minute change of plans from travelling to Terengganu for a meeting to an unplanned stay in Flamingo Hotel, Penang for a night. The director couldn't make it at the last minute while we were travelling on Penang Bridge and luckily it was just the start of the long journey by road. Well, it is unfortunate that our plane fare booked via Malindo Air website had to be exchanged to travel vouchers instead of returning us the money. This cost the company about $1.7k for a return flight for 2 pax. We also had to cancel our booking that is non-refundable via Agoda.com and lost $500 thereabout for 2 nights in Grand Continental.

To be frank, it was rather stressful, having prepared the PowerPoint slides show presentation and tidy up the bits and pieces to encounter this 11th hour change. I can only pray to our Heavenly Father to help us out in this predicament; who sees a helicopter view of what's actually happening. Anyway, I created another humorous video below to de-stress, with a lesson of always putting on your mask especially in the lift and in this covid-19 pandemic, so as not to spread any virus nor contract it.

Today is the first of September and I am grateful for the blessings that come, no matter what, especially in this mayhem caused by the virus that has wrecked global economy and speed up recession worldwide. This video above is a MUST SEE, as it is so funny watching it repeatedly. It certainly relates to most of us, especially for those staying in highrise or condominiums and apartments with lifts.

Yesterday was our National Day on 31st August in Malaysia.

Above is a lovely "Good Morning" and "Happy Tuesday" Instagram pictures from my account. I will occasionally post these beautiful pictures for posterity on my Instagram and look through them as a reminder of the times that pass by.

Below is another Instagram picture. Enjoy!

My Working Trip to Langkawi in 1998

The video above showcases my working-cum-holiday trip to Langkawi in 1998. Yes, 2 years before this Covid-19 pandemic. That is why you don't see me wearing a mask then. Those were the carefree days from this virus outbreak.

If you view the lovely video with scenic shots till the end, you will see the various panoramic landscapes of the beautiful, untouched island of Langkawi, with many duty free items for sale like liquor, chocolates, batik, perfumes, floral cutleries, and many other high-end items.

There are many activities to do in Langkawi, such as, island hopping by boat, snorkelling, take a short helicopter ride who get a bird's eye view of Cenang Beach Bay, see the beautiful sunset by the horizon on a yatch, visiting many places of tourists' attractions, and more.

This little island is jam-packed with tourism industry. There are many cashew nuts, pistachios, and chocolates that you cannot find in the usual malls of other parts of Malaysia.

This is what makes Langkawi so special where tourist from locals and foreign countries flock here and patronise the restaurants, shopping malls, etc. There are enough bad news flying around the media worldwide and even locally. Hence, I shall dwell the carefree days then to stay happy and cheerful.

Sometimes, we all need a break from the monotony of work and work and blogging is my passion. Simply because I can pen my thoughts freely, without anyone telling me what to write and such. There is this freedom that you get to enjoy as you blog your musings and also rants. Okay, stay safe and practise social distancing, everyone.

As today is a Monday, the first day of the week, I would like to cheer us up with the lovely yellow themed picture from my Instagram account.
